Quality
Inside Centigon Security Group we believe that the Quality Department must be involved into every steps of the armouring process. Upstream, the department issues quality manual, procedures, detailed instructions and forms that will be use in the different company departments. The objective is to create a transversal project activity where the management improvement of each process is fully compliant with ISO 9001.
During this process, the quality department will gather different information through, audits, customer claims and results and the report of internal or suppliers non conformities. After consolidation, those informations will be distributed to the rest of the company followed quickly by a corrective action update.
The Quality department of Centigon Security Group is organized around four major steps:

Material approval
An internal ballistic test is conducted for each new batch of steel. The glass also goes through an internal ballistic test but it is also inspected regarding the aspect, the dimension and the distortion. Those tests are prior to any components integration in the armoring process of Centigon Security Group.
Inspection during the production process
Using the materials implemented by the quality department, each step is self-inspected. Quality controllers also realize two diagnostic tests, one after the electrical integration and another before the road test. Finally, each vehicle goes through a functional control.
Final inspection
Here, our quality controllers realize several verifications regarding the appearance, the waterproofing and the weight of the vehicle. They also run a road test (at least 50km) in order to ensure that the original capabilities of the vehicles remain despite the armouring weight. In case of non-conformity with the client expectation or the requirement of the quality department, the vehicle goes through a phase of rework.
Quality Acceptation
Finally, the quality department validate the reworks, if they were required, and issue a certificate of conformity for the customer. The documentation gathered through each steps of this process allows Centigon Security Group to improve the production process after each vehicle.
